FR mattress tape is used to bind and finish the seam between the mattress top panel and side border. In addition to creating a clean and consistent mattress edge, it is developed for mattress projects that specify flame-retardant performance for individual bedding components.

Q2: Can flame-retardant mattress tape make the entire mattress compliant?
FR mattress tape is only one component of a mattress system. Overall flammability performance also depends on the mattress cover, barrier fabric, foam, thread, filling materials, seams and complete construction. The finished mattress or mattress set must be evaluated according to the applicable standard.
Q3: What FR test information should be provided before sampling?
Please provide the destination market, required test method or standard, pass criteria, conditioning requirements and whether testing applies to the tape itself, a component assembly or the finished mattress. If available, a laboratory report or approved reference sample is also helpful.
Q4: Is the flame-retardant performance inherent or achieved through treatment?
