FAQ
Q1: Can this polyester webbing be used as furniture or sofa support webbing?
It is mainly intended for furniture trim, reinforcement, covers and general fixing components. It should not automatically be treated as load-bearing sofa support webbing. If it will support seating weight or remain under continuous tension, the required breaking strength, elongation, attachment method and testing conditions must be confirmed before development.
Q2: Is the webbing suitable for washable garment accessories?
This depends on the yarn color, dyeing process, washing temperature, detergent and amount of rubbing. For washable garments, the required colorfastness, shrinkage and dimensional stability should be evaluated on a sample before bulk production.
Q3: What packaging applications is this polyester webbing tape suitable for?
It can be used as a textile handle, tie, decorative strap or reinforcing detail on paper bags, gift boxes, fabric pouches and reusable packaging. It is not an adhesive packing tape or carton-sealing tape. It should also not be used for pallet securing or industrial load restraint unless a separate construction and testing standard are confirmed.
Q4: Will the surface design remain visible after folding and sewing?
The finished appearance depends on the original tape width, visible width, fold line and stitching position. If the polyester webbing tape will be folded around an edge, the expected visible area should be checked during sampling.
Q5: Can the color be matched to furniture fabric, garments or packaging materials?
Yes. Color development can be based on a Pantone reference, physical fabric sample or approved color standard. Because different yarns and lighting conditions can affect the visible shade, bulk production should follow an approved webbing sample and agreed color tolerance.
